What if Summer and Winter came together
What would happen if the Summer weather and Winter weather happened in the same day? If you think about it, it would be quite astounding. In the morning you would be able to construct a snowman and enjoy that nice mug full of hot chocolate afterward. By the afternoon it would start getting warmer and you would go swimming or sit on the beach with a nice book. For the girls who change they're clothes this would be the perfect excuse. In the morning hours you would need a coat, pants, gloves and mittens, in the afternoon only shorts and a t-shirt is permitted. On the other hand it would be extremely confusing for the environment. The hibernating animals wouldn't know whether to hibernate or not. The could animals became aggravated and start causing havoc in the society, because winter and summer in the same day is an unnatural occurrence. The fruit wouldn't be able to grow to the fullest capacity and we wouldn't be able to enjoy the flavours of our favourite fruits. Summer and Winter in the same day would be a cool thing, as long as the pattern didnt last too long.

Blogging
The things that I would blog about are things that are in our everyday lives. It would be a simple, yet a challenging topic because you would have to process and rationalize those thoughts. For example if we, the students blog about the music that we're listening to and what we feel the artist means when he or she expresses that catchy lyric. The power the music has, like how that certain genre can totally pump you up or easily put you to sleep is amazing. Also the other everyday things we do like watching t.v. or reading a book. For example we could blog on the opinions of Hugh Laurie (House) or Blake Lively(Gossip Girl) on something happening in the world today like the U.S elections or the possible resession. Even blogging about the plans we have for our future and our plans to save money. We are in grade 12 and we should be thinking about our future. It would also be nice to read what other classmates are going to do after graduation, to see if others have good ideas that might help in dicission making. Blogging should be marked on how much thought and time is put into the blog. A mark out of 5 for each blog, then at the end of the term having an overall mark for blogging. Forexample if we had 20 blogs and each time I got a 4, then I would get an 80 percent for blogging.

The Perils of Indifference
Risk of not being conscience.
The graphic violence that comes from a community that seems so ordinary is so incredibly strange. The community members select a piece of paper, the person who is selected gets stoned to death. It seems odd that just because "The Lottery" is selecting that certain person, the person is automatically set apart of the others for no particular reason. There is nothing physically wrong with the person, but for some reason the person is given a death sentence. This short story relates to the KKK's mentality, for no apparent reason they hated the African American people with severe passion. The KKK killed hundreds of innocent African American people for there dark skin color, their different religion? In "The Lottery" the towns people killed an innocent person because of a timeless tradition. This is a tradition that is from so long ago that people don't even remember why a person had to be killed, they just continue to do it because that's hows its always been.
The biggest connection between both "the lottery" and the perils of indifference by Elie Wiesel is that nobody did anything to stop both of these events. The individuals involved in the Holocaust almost destroyed and broke the spirits of the whole Jewish community. The people around that knew about the Holocaust didn't attempt to stop the whole ordeal, they just went on living life normally. Just as the community in "the lottery" did, they finished the killing a perfectly normal person in there community, just in time for there next meal. Know imagine how it would be the world stood up to Hitler and the Nazis, our whole society would be different. The second world war might have come sooner, but so many Jewish lives could have been saved. The community of the lottery would have also saved many people if they stopped stoning people to death, if someone just stopped the washed out tradition. If our society could stop the actions that are wrong, then out whole society could benefit.
